Trip: British Museum

Info about our trip
Tomorrow morning, Team Amin and Team Beraet are heading to the British Museum in London as a starting point for our new topic.
Our new topic is called 'Blasts from the Past' and the core focus is on the Ancient Egyptians. At the British Museum, there are a number of gallery rooms dedicated to artefacts relating to this period - including the Rosetta Stone!
Here are a few key reminders about the trip:
Please wear full school uniform as usual.
Please be in school promptly. We are hoping to leave just after 8:30 and cannot wait around for late arrivals. If possible, try to be in school as close to 8:15 as possible - when the doors open.
We have suggested to the children that they bring a backpack, even if they are having school packed lunch. This is because it will make it easier to carry a lunch and the paper and pencils required to make notes of information to help future learning.
The children may take an additional snack for the coach journeys - nothing messy though please (something simple and healthy and I have said no yoghurt and as always, no fizzy drinks.
The children do NOT require spending money as we will not be visiting the gift shop.
We are hoping to be back to school between 4:15 and 4:30 but obviously cannot precisely predict traffic. If we are running very late, we will endeavour to contact the school to issue a text.
Thank you for your support. We are really looking forward to tomorrow.
