Animal Morning: Leopard gecko and corn snake!

Take a look at some of our photos attached below!

What a treat we had this morning for Team Amin! We welcomed a corn snake and a leopard gecko, two pets of our children, into school for the children to see, stroke and talk about! Everyone was able to stroke Peaches, the corn snake, and we discussed how the creature's skin feels compared to its skin shedding. We also met Sunshine, the leopard gecko, who had only just shed skin and was therefore kept safe in a box for us to look at. Well done Team Amin for behaving so sensibly and calmly around the animals and an enormous thank you to our two parents from bringing in their pets to school! The children really were quite enamoured with them and it really is such a bonus when they can get up close and actually really look at a creature!
