Turner Prize Trip

What wonderful days we had!

Last week seems so long ago but here are some photos from our trip to the Turner gallery to see the Turner Prize. The children who visited on Wednesday and Friday had absolutely brilliant days and had the opportunity to view and discuss some of the artists' work privately before the general public entered with Turner staff. Of course, their ideas and thoughts were brilliant, thoughtful and rather inspiring but, I must say, the children truly shone when they were touring the general public around the exhibits. As I explained to them, touring adults around and talking about art work in a famous British art gallery is not an opportunity that most children have. Moreover, the task itself can be rather daunting but, in true RAPS fashion, all of the children really took on the challenge and flourished! I hope they were as proud of themselves as all of the adults were of them and, of course, as amazed and inspired as the general public were!

More photos including polaroids will be coming to Team Amin at some point this term which will be very exciting! Comments from the general public were also left in the gallery! Thank you to all parents, carers and guardians for your support!
