English: Monologues

Team Amin have been exploring monologues for the past two days as we are going to be having a go at writing our own as Ruskin Splinter this week! We have learnt that a monologue is an emotional speech given by one character in a film, novel or play without being interrupted and can recognise important features too. We have even watched examples of monologues from films! Today, we had a go at role playing a scene in class where Ruskin might perform a monologue! This will help us to get into character as we prepare to write our own monologues very soon!
