This week in Team Spurrier we have been learning all about the movement of the sun. We started learning about how the earth rotates and when our country is facing away from the sunshine, it is nighttime. Then as we rotate further, the sun starts to rise etc. We then learnt about how it looks in the sky. We now know that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west and we drew a fantastic diagram with a compass to represent it. Next week we will be making sun dials outside and looking at the movement of the sun during the day.
