Visit from Kent Fire and Rescue Services!

Team Smart really enjoyed meeting the education team from Kent Fire and Rescue Services on Monday morning who taught them all about fire safety and how to call 999 in an emergency. This related really well to our current topic of Me and My Place this week when we were learning about being part of a community and the professionals who help keep us safe. In the afternoon we were treated to a visit from a real fire engine! We learnt all about how the Fire Services team attend to emergencies and we got to explore the engine and how it works - we even tried out the hose and had a look inside!
