Maths - Congratulations to Oakley this week for some extremely independent challenge work that built on his understanding of the inverse operation when solving missing number sentences. Oakley focused extremely well and kept on challenging himself throughout the week and I was very impressed with his attitude towards this new and rather tricky concept that we were learning about. Well done Oakley!

Star of the Week - A massive congratulations to Jack this week, who has shown some really great effort and a super attitude towards his Maths and English work even when it was really tricky. You just kept on going and clarifying whether you were doing your task correctly with an adult and we were all extremely impressed with this throughout the week! Keep it up! 

English - Congratulations to Henry for some fanstatic work with your character descriptions this week. I was so impressed by your independent attitude towards your writing and your use of our working wall to help you formulate your ideas further. Henry included all of his key ingredients brilliantly (varied sentence openers, full sentences and exciting detail) and produced two fantastic pieces of writing! Well done!
