Team Bullard are becoming journalists
When the classroom becomes a newsroom.
After working to create an Iron Man collage using images of scrap metal, Team Bullard started their work on newspaper reports.
In our story 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes, a giant space-bat-angel has landed on Australia and is demanding the people of earth that it be fed living things. This shocking event had us role playing as eyewitnesses and journalists asking open questions such as 'In your opinion, what should the people of the earth do next?' and 'When did you first notice the creature?'
Over the next few weeks we will continue to write, edit and publish our very own newspaper report on the events of the space-bat-angel.
