General Election results are IN!!

After a lot of research, speech writing and delivery and even a question and answer session, the pupils  of Team Beraet cast their votes... The effort and thought that went into every party's speech was amazing and the children should ALL be very proud of their efforts. The children were allocated a political party and researched their policies, selected what they felt were the most important and explained them in a persuasive speech they write as a group. After delivering some impressive speeches, and with all children and adults have one vote the results show a massive landslide victory for the Labour Party! Labour secured 14 votes, though it was very close with the remaining parties. The Conservatives were second on 6, narrowly beating the Green Party on 5 and the Liberal Democrats and UKIP receiving 4 votes each. A big well done to Byron, Jacob, Josie, Riley H, Riley M and Summer who represented the Labour Party.
