The following are not acceptable as breaktime snacks: crisps, chocolate, brownies, sugar waffles and anything with nuts. Appropriate snacks include, fruit, vegetables, popcorn (not toffee) and cereal bars. Please note, we are trying to encourage healthy eating and any unhealthy snacks will be removed and given back to parents at the end of day. Fruit is provided in KS1 throughout the day. This term, there will be two spelling homework groups to support children as they transition through the RWInc and Hybrid groups. Each group's spelling words will focus on a mix of statutory words and tricky spellings we have noticed. Each Friday, the children will be given their sheet to take home and practise with and the following Friday, they can hand their spelling sheet to their teacher to collect house points. This has been explained to the children 🙂
