The Turner Gallery 

Today we were given a guided tour by Jean and Sue and they showed us all around the Jean Arp exhibition. We learnt that all of his work came from chance and we tried to understand what the pieces might mean. After we went into the studio and created our own pieces of his work in our sketch books. We let string drop and had to draw around the shapes it made, we tore up bits of paper and let them fall, we made our own poems and let our partner guide our drawings. It was a very busy day.
