Home Learning

Thursday 7th May 2020

Hi Team Rees-Boughton,

Well Done for all your AMAZING home learning this week I am so proud of each and every one of you!

Now, although it is Thursday today is our last day of home school for this week because tomorrow it is a bank holiday.

It is a bank holiday because tomorrow marks the 75th Anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day.

Victory in Europe Day/VE Day took place on May 8th 1945. It was a public holiday and day of celebration to mark the defeat of Germany by the Allied forces in Second World War.
VE Day marked the formal conclusion of the war with Germany and brought to an end six years of suffering, courage and endurance across the world.
I have attached a PowerPoint below to help your understanding.

So today I would like to create a presentation all about VE Day. I would like you to research key facts and find out as much as you can. You could make a PowerPoint, make a poster, film a video or even do some art work based on VE Day.

The choice is yours and I look forward to seeing all your work!

Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday and I will see you again on Monday!

Love Miss R-B, Mrs Fetherston, Mr Brown and Charlie Fudge xxx
