Hi Everyone!

Hope you're all well? It's almost Friday! My favourite day of the week!

PE: It's a yoga day today. As you know Trolls is one of my favourite films. Can you have a go at The Trolls Cosmic Kids Yoga Story? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9Q6FKF12Qs

Maths: Today we are going to be re-capping our knowledge of 3D Shapes. Can you fill in the grid below. Watch this video to help you if you're a bit stuck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nLpD6bE4fE

English: Today you are going to be writing a repetitive poem all about being lost and alone. Remember you did a similar thing when writing your spell for Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Book. Remember, our poem must have a repeating line the whole way through. Beegu is feeling lost and alone so maybe your repeating line could be: I miss my home or I can't wait to hug my Mum. My poem rhymes but yours doesn't have to.

E.g.

I'm feeling lost and all alone
I cannot wait to go home

I miss my Mum

I cannot stand it being just me
I stare out of the window anxiously

I miss my Mum

Earth is strange and very small
If only my friends would call

I miss my Mum

I cannot stand the human race
I just want to be back in space

Spelling: Have a go at the Choose the right Word game below then write up the sentences in your best handwriting.

Topic: Many explorers have travelled the world but some explorers have even travelled BEYOND the earth! What do you already know about space travel? You should have learnt about space back in reception, what can you remember?
Humans are very curious, they have found incredible ways to explore beyond our planet and into space. The first mission to space was a very significant event. The most famous space explorer is probably Neil Armstrong. Astronauts still travel to space! Take a look at these clips of Tim Peake and place his travels onto your timelines.

Did you know that some people believe the moon landings to be a fake!

Recorded Task: Can you read the PowerPoint below then answer the questions based on Neil Armstrong's life?

Helping at Home: Can you help today by tidying up a room in the house that's not your own?

Happy Thursday!
