Viking Games – Important Information

We’re really looking forward to this year’s Viking Games – a fantastic morning of sport held at Upton Junior School,  with Chilton Primary School, as part of our Viking Academy Trust.

This is always a brilliant event, giving children the chance to take part in a range of fun sporting activities while representing their school and working alongside other pupils from across the trust.

Dates

• Year 5/6 Viking Games – Tuesday 3rd June

• Year 3/4 Viking Games – Thursday 5th June

What Children Will Need
To make sure your child is fully prepared, please ensure they bring the following:

• A water bottle

• A house colour T-shirt 

• A packed lunch (unless your child receives free school meals – in which case, a lunch will be provided)

Additional Info

• We will be walking to the train station and taking the train to Broadstairs, then walking to Upton.

• Children will return to school in the early afternoon and will have their lunch on the field.

• Please make sure your child is in school by 8:25am so we can get to the station promptly.
