Arts' Week - The Lion King cast assembly and Songwriting workshop
Wow! What an amazing start to Arts' week. We kicked off this extra special week with a fantastic assembly given by two members of the cast from the West End production of The Lion King. Shannon and Kuan led an action-packed workshop where we danced, sang and performed part of a song from the production. It was incredible fun and such a treat to see the performers.
As if that wasn't enough, we then had a songwriting workshop where we wrote our own class song about feeling happy. The session was led by Naomi, a RAPS parent, who guided our class to write lyrics for our new song. The result was really fantastic. The children really enjoyed contributing ideas and making up the actions for it.
