Another wonderful week at forest school

Team Cole had another amazing week at Forest School, full of creativity, adventure, and exploration in the great outdoors.
We started off with some bug hunting, searching high and low to discover all sorts of mini beasts in their natural habitats. The children were so excited to spot wriggling worms, busy beetles, and even a few sneaky spiders!
In the mud kitchen, imaginations ran wild as pies, potions, and muddy masterpieces were made with great care and plenty of giggles. Some brave explorers also enjoyed climbing trees, building confidence and learning how to assess risks safely.
A highlight this week was crafting wands and cat toys using sticks, wool, and feathers. The children loved getting creative and using natural materials in new ways. We even had a go at whittling, using potato peelers to carefully shape sticks—what a brilliant way to build fine motor skills and practice focus!
Forest School continues to be a space where learning comes alive. We’re so proud of how Team Cole embraces every opportunity with enthusiasm and curiosity.
