Amazing Animal Collages

This term, we started our art by looking at the artist Peter Clark. He makes pictures of animals using collage. A collage is when you stick different pieces of paper or fabric together to make art.

We used animal shapes and filled them with lots of different materials like coloured paper, fabric, and magazine cuttings. We looked for things with interesting patterns and textures, just like Peter Clark does in his work.

Our topic this term is "Animals and Us", so this art links really well. It helped us think about the animals we know and love, and how we can show them in fun and creative ways. It was a great way to start our topic and we really enjoyed making our collages!
