Monkton Trip - Team Brun-Cialis

Today, we went to Monkton Nature Reserve...
We had a great day exploring the nature reserve and observing all the plant and animal life. We noticed some of the plant processes we have been studying in Topic such as pollen being transported by bees and seeds heads on both dandelions and thistles.
We also watched some of the bird life using the binoculars provided by the reserve. Before revisiting some of our knowledge from Term 3 when we learnt about Stone Age flint tools and Bronze Age burials.
The children and staff in Yr 3 would like to say a massive thank you to the volunteer helpers who helped the children today. Trips like this can't happen without your help!!
