What a fantastic start to Term 6!

A wonderful first week back!
Welcome back to your last term in Year 3. The children have settled back into school beautifully and have enjoyed our Personal Development week and, of course, the Viking Games!
This week we have been focusing on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. We have discussed healthy eating, exercise, sleep and personal hygiene as well as what to do if we do feel poorly. The children all completed a questionnaire about their own choices and thought about what they could do to live a healthier lifestyle. They have brought these home to discuss with you!
On Thursday, we went to Upton to participate in the Viking Games. Luckily, the rain held off and we were able to participate in a number of different activities, such as archery, hurdles, basketball, dodgeball and cricket. Everyone was a fantastic role model for the school and it was lovely to see everybody talking to and working with children from the other schools.
Quick reminders... please encourage your child to read, practice their spellings and use TTRS. Raffle tickets are given out for these tasks and they really benefit learning in the classroom. Thank you for your support!
