  • 'Volunteering Opportunity'

As you know, our schools will only be open for children of critical key workers from next week, we would like to organise a bank of reserve volunteers who would be prepared to help us on an ad hoc basis in assisting us to run fun activities or performing specific tasks such as answering the phone, supervising school lunches to carrying out first aid (if you have the relevant qualification of course!) when the need arises. Because we want to look after you we need to make sure that you don't fall under the vulnerable groups as defined by the government.  If you don’t fall under this criteria, we would love to hear from you! We can arrange a DBS remotely, so if you are interested in becoming a Viking volunteer please contact Mrs Blatchford on coo@vikingacademytrust.com. We will look forward hearing from you!

Thursday 19th March 2020

  • Good afternoon, Yoga lessons start next Thursday, can all yoga parents please check their spam for an email from hello@nyla-yoga.co.uk. Thank you.

  • The following message was sent home to all Parents/Carers today: Dear Parents, apologies for not informing you in advance of the lunch menu change yesterday, this was my oversight. The children had fish and chips in a grab bag instead of a roast dinner. Our KS1 children were involved in workshops all day in our hall and it would have taken too long to take down and set back up the staging for the afternoon session. It was decided that the children would eat in their classrooms and as you can imagine fish and chips were easier to serve in bags than a roast dinner. There will also be a menu change this Friday - the children will have sausage, chips and beans -salad and jacket potatoes will also be available. Chips being served twice in a week is very much a one off. I thank you for your understanding in advance. Kind regards Mr Budge.

Failure to settle accounts will result in your child's place being withdrawn.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact the office.
