Maths 

This week we have been developing our maths skills. We started the week by comparing amounts to ensure that we were secure with our coin recognition and value. Later in the week we were learning how to exchange coins to make the same value so that we didn't always need to pay in the same way. This was a really tricky skill to develop but something clicked and we really started to get it. Finally, at the end of the week we were given an amount to spend and we had to find out how much change we would be given. We used tens frames to help us and some of us were even able to do it mentally by using number bonds or counting backwards.
