Sing from the heart
Supporting others and helping the local community are incredibly noble acts, and our year 6 pupils were incredible ambassadors for the school yesterday...
The Seaside singers, a group that provide singing opportunities for those who suffer from dementia, or people who care for them, came into the school, where they were regaled by some of our year 6 pupils who signed up for the Sing from the Heart project. Everyone then joined in to sing the special song we learned together, before enjoying a number of rounds and silly songs.
The year 6 pupils were exemplary hosts, going round to deliver teas, coffees and biscuits before playing games (such as noughts and crosses or chess) with our guests.
