Plants: Being scientists

As a part of our Topic, Year 3 are exploring our own lines of enquiry through scientific investigations! The children have decided on their own questions to explore and today, we planted our seeds to get ready to observe each plant's growth over the coming weeks! We talked about the importance of a fair test and only changing one variable! Will our plants grow taller with more or less soil? Can plants grow without soil? Can plants still grow in the shade? Let's find out!
