Community spirit!

The children discussed who and what makes up a community before looking at how some people choose to help and support their local community - especially in times of need. With the recent Covid lockdowns, there have been many examples of amazing people who have done just this. We explored the actions of four people from a young lady sending videos to cheer up young children, to a Syrian refugee who would cycle around delivering medicines to vulnerable people who could not leave their house.
