Mindfulness Monday

On Monday mornings we have a slow transition in to our school week through taking part in mindful activities.

We have a check in together before considering what activities may best suit our mood. We have started having conversations around how certain activities can help us. For example if we are feeling sad having an opportunity to share our feelings  with others can help us feel better. This week we used chalkboards and water to write or draw our feelings which disappeared as they dried which is a good visual for how feelings come and go.
