Maths: comparing numbers
Well done, Year 2!
We have loved comparing 1 and 2-digit numbers up to 100 in Year 2 this week using our inequality symbols: >, < and = ! We know to check the tens column first before looking at the ones. To practise comparing different numbers, we set ourselves challenges to check our learning! We went outside with chalk and solved lots of questions on the playground floor! We collaborated with talk partners, each building different numbers and then deciding together which symbol we would use!
