Art to Start
Collage inspired by German Dada artist Hannah Hoch
This week for our Topic Art to Start we will be creating a collage or ‘photomontage’ in the Dadaist style, inspired by the artist Hannah Höch. For this we would ideally like the children to have access to the following resources:
- Photocopies of photographs of themselves - named in pencil on the reverse. (if you do not have access to a photocopier, we can photocopy your photos at school and we will ensure they will be returned safely).
- Magazines and newspapers to cut up and paste (lifestyle or gossip style magazines would be ideal!)
- Pieces of fabric and other materials to incorporate in to their work.
