Bug Club

All of the children have now been set up on our online reading scheme Bug Club... Today they should have brought home their log-in card. You do not need to download anything, and it is completely free for the children to use, all you need to do is put 'bug club' into a search engine! They will have a bank of books to read through, but please do not hesitate to speak to me if you feel the books are too easy or too difficult! Whilst reading there are questions for the children to answer (shown by a bug's head on the book). Try to encourage your children to re-read books and savour / enjoy them and look for details or connections they may have missed first time. Even if the children have read electronically on Bug Club, it can still be recorded in their reading record.
