Reading time

Please keep this life skill fresh... Reading the time is a very tricky concept for many children to learn and master. In tour last full week we revisited this area of maths and the children really impressed at reading analogue clocks (those with hands and faces) to 5 minutes intervals (5 past, 25 to, 10 to, etc.) and to the nearest minute (18 mins past etc.). Please keep it fresh for them by getting them to read any clocks you may have around the house or you see out and about. It would be a shame if this is not reinforced over the 6 weeks off.
