Art to Start
Following on from our visit, Year 3 created a piece of artwork to begin the topic 'Blast from the Past'...
After some spectacular lightning pictures and volcano collages, we began this topic unit with some clay modelling! The children used clay to create their very own cartouche - basically a name tag that royals would have put with them in their tombs. Once the children created their base, they added hieroglyphic letters that were relevant to them. The last step was to paint them.
