Data handling in maths

The children have looked at the strategies to help understand and locate the required information from pictograms, bar charts and tables. This has involved two step problems where different categories are compared. Often with this area of maths, it is the understanding of the question itself that can be the hardest challenge! This coming week will see us independently create our own bar charts and consolidate reading and interpreting from a range of charts and tables.
