Refugee week with the Turner
On Wednesday, the Turner came in for Refugee week and the children moved around a carousel of activities...
The theme was to think about what it means to be a refugee, as well as what the children themselves would miss about Ramsgate if they were to become refugees. They made salads from Afghanistan and Syria (where many refugees come from), wrote songs and created paintings to show what they would take with them / miss most and used craft materials to create a mode of transport to help them escape!
