3D shape in maths
Over the last week in maths, year 3 have been looking at 3D shapes...
The children have made their own shapes using modelling materials and have explored a range of shapes using their proper names and technical vocabulary such as 'faces', 'edges' and 'vertices'. Using this vocabulary, the children had a go at sorting shapes and deciding which shape might be the odd one out and why.
