Crime and Punishment have been the watch words in topic this week, with a travel back through time to explore some of the changes that have shaped our criminal justice system...
This week we looked at how the Romans brought about the codification of laws using their 12 tables set down onto bronze tablets. Moving on through time, we then looked at some of the aspects of Anglo-Saxon crime and punishment, culminating in the children getting into character to write a letter as a poor Anglo-Saxon farmer charged with murder!
