Using our core text and its Victorian era setting, we have written our own story this week, using one of the peripheral characters from Street Child as our central figure...

After creating a plan considering events, characters and descriptive phrases, each day we wrote another part of the story. On Monday, we hope to edit the endings we wrote on Friday and then publish them in our writing journals. Why not ask your child abou the original story of Street Child, and then ask them if they can recount their own story based on the character 'Tip'?
