On Friday, the children completed the final stage of their Business Enterprise Project - the make-or-break sales fayre..
A couple of weeks ago, the children got themselves into groups and had to brainstorm business ideas for a stall. After creating a questionnaire to discover the needs and wants of their customer base (the rest of KS2), the children then had to research these ideas and select a final product. To ensure they knew their product inside and out, they had to enter the 'Dragon's Den' to request a start-up loan for their business.
The final step was to prepare their product and sell it at the business enterprise fayre to years 3, 4 and 5. Initial indications suggest that EVERY group made a healthy profit and altogether the profit from all of the groups is around £250!!!
Again, they should all be EXTREMELY proud of their efforts!
