Team Amin do the theatre.......

This morning we finished our unit on Anthony Browne's The Tunnel by acting  it out as a class. We divided the book into five scenes, allocating one to each table and thereby ensuring that every child had a role to play. We made sure that we always had a director and a narrator for each group and the children impressed us hugely by demonstrating their skills of collaboration and organisation. Whilst we didn't use many props, we thought creatively about which symbols were the most important to include and adapted our own resources accordingly.

The final result WOWed us completely! The children took it in turns to act and were very supportive of all the other groups as well as being rightly proud of their own.

We have all really enjoyed reading and studying the Anthony Browne books over this term and this activity provided a celebratory and fun end to a fantastic term of reading!
