Topic: Investigating movement on surfaces

Team Amin have been exploring forces this term and, recently, the impact of friction on objects moving on different surfaces! We put our investigating hats on and took part in our own experiment to see what surface a toilet roll tube would move the furthest on! We picked our five surfaces to test out as a class and today, we all took part in our investigation by each taking on a different surface/role! We made sure our 'amount of force' was always the same by using a fan and used a metre rule to measure the distance travelled accurately! Our results were very close indeed!
