Art to start!

This week in Team O'Flaherty we started our first Year 1 topic 'Me and My Place'. We kicked this off with an Art to start lesson on self portraits. We looked at Vincent Van Gogh's work for inspiration. We took inspiration from his use of colours and strong brushstrokes. We used small mirrors to look closely at our facial features. We carefully considered the positioning and size of our facial features. It was so much fun and we are very proud of what we have achieved.
