Our community

In our topic lessons we have been learning about what a community is and what kinds of groups of people there are in a community. We have also been learning about the different people who help us in our community. We were very lucky to have a special message from PC Barnes, he talked us through how he helps the people in our community and how he works with other emergency services in the community to keep people safe.

We explored the different people within our school community too. We know the adults in our school community help us lots everyday so we chose one of the adults in our school community and wrote them a thank you card for helping us. Finally we got to deliver our cards to the adults, they were very pleased with their cards :)
