Problem Solving

Last week we worked on our problem solving skills. We read the book 'One is a snail, ten is a crab' which talks about the number of legs animals have. The book then creates combinations of the animals such as 10 crabs is 100 etc. We used pictures of the animals and created our own combinations. We started off simple with 6xsnails=6 or 1xinsect=6 and then we challenged ourself to mix it up. We did combinations such as 2xsnails and 1xdog= 6 etc. Some of us were even able to record this on whiteboards too.
