Curriculum: We went punting!

Yesterday, Team Amin and Team O'Flaherty went to Canterbury to visit a river! In Topic, we have started to learn all about rivers, from the journey a river takes from its source or spring to the famous rivers all across the world and the problems they face! As an exciting enrichment opportunity and to get us all outside of the classroom learning, we went punting on the Great Stour and had the best time! We spotted lots of incredible wildlife including a moorhen in its nest, came up with far too many river puns and, best of all, showed off all of our knowledge! We also had our lunch in Westgate Gardens, played in the play area and even played Poohsticks! What a fabulous day!
