During the first week of the term we looked at our RE unit - signs and symbols...
The children discussed the difference between signs and symbols and explored how certain pictures, images or items can have a special meaning for some people because of their connection to a story, event, person or place that has special significance to them. Examples that we looked at include Christian symbols from the story of Noah's Ark and the items on the Cedar plate for Jews.
