First few days...

It is great to be back and learning... In the first two days back the children have revisited what makes a great learner! Firstly, we re-capped the school values; what they are and how they help us to learn. We had to complete a few activities to see which ones we use, such as drawing a 'starburst' from just a few written instructions. Then we reflected on what we have done well and succeeded at so far, before setting targets for this term and the year as a whole. Finally, we explored how children can be really involved in their learning and the behaviours that will help them to be successful in the classroom. On Monday, we will be back to maths (looking at number and place value), English (exploring poetry) and RE (Christian parables).
