Think back to our recent core text of 'The Green Ship' by Quentin Blake, and one of the lesser characters - Bosun (the gardener)...
I would really like it if you could try to write a character description of Bosun. Please remember all of the work we have done on character descriptions: Use a range of sentence openers; included expanded noun phrases; have a paragraph on clothing and one on his physical appearance. To help with this, I have attached a word bank (openers, spelling of key words and a few adjectives) and a couple of pictures of Bosun. Feel free to take a photo of your description and email it in if you like. Happy writing!
