In guided reading the children have finished with ‘Clockwork’ by Philip Pullman. Over the course of the week, the children predicted then experienced the ending of the book, selected their favourite scenes and created freeze frames to represent them and answered questions on the book.

In their writing they have begun to plan and write a persuasive speech to convince their classmates that they would make an ideal candidate to represent Team Beraet on our new school council. We will build up the arguments and refine them next week.
