Please see below for some information about reading records.
Please can all children have their Reading Records in their bags every day. We look at them, count for 100 reads and comment on a Monday, but whenever an adult reads with a child, we will now be noting this inside their records too for you to see. To do this, their record must be in school so they can get it to bring to us!
Additionally, logging any reading in the reading record is a basic home learning expectation at RAPS, but this also counts to your child's 100 reads. Every moment of reading, whether it is a book or a few pages in a chapter book, counts towards a £5 voucher for a book of your child's choice to keep! Logging can be done by an adult or a child - I just need to see it in the record to count it.
Thank you in advance!
