Wednesday's topic - 29/4/20
After our brief musical pause yesterday, we are back to our new topic and looking at rainforests…
Let us begin with a general check of our global knowledge. Firstly, can you name the continents of the world when seen on a map / globe? Find a map of the world online and see how yo do.
Secondly, do you understand what we mean by these phrases (maybe you could write a definition for each):
- The equator
- The Northern hemisphere
- The Southern hemisphere
Finally, can you find the rainforests of the world? If you like, you could find them on a map online and colour them onto the blank map attached. Otherwise, you could try to write an explanation / description of where in the world you find the world’s rainforests.
