Junior Leadership Team
Every year, each class in Key Stage 2 votes for two pupils to act as our representatives in the RAPS Junior Leadership Team (JLT). They will be meeting with Mrs Beech in their bubble for 15 minutes during selected lunchtimes to put forward the views of the class, discuss important topics and help to steer the future direction of the school.
Running for JLT and preparing a speech is optional. There is no expectation that children do this if they do not want to run.
If they would like to run, however, as I know many of them have said they would, I have asked that they prepare a 1 minute speech explaining why they want the role and why they think they are suited to it. Their speech needs to be in on Monday 5th October as we will run our secret ballot vote later in the week where all of the class will elect their representatives.
I have said they may write their speech on their own paper/in their own notebooks or even inside their Love to Learn books which were sent home with them yesterday.
