Medicine through the years

We will be starting our IPC History goals in Week 6. We will be learning about some famous people and events in the past in medicine and healthcare. I am looking for volunteers from an older generation who would be willing to come into school to talk to the children about how the developments in healthcare and medicine have changed over the years. For example perhaps you have a family member or friend connected to your family who can remember healthcare before the introduction of penicillin (1928)?  Or they may be able to talk about how hospitals and doctors services have changed over the years? It would bring the topic to life to hear about real life experiences so if you know anyone that could help do come and talk to me!
